SAME Inducts 26 Members into Academy of Fellows
ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) inducted 26 members into its Academy of Fellows (AOF) on Friday, March 19, 2010. Since 1972, SAME has bestowed the designation of Fellow on SAME members who have rendered dedicated service to SAME and to military engineering.
Bryan J. Zatica has been intimately involved with the Orange County and Los Angeles Posts, as a sustaining member, director, first vice president and individual member chair. As president of Macro-Z-Technology, Zatica has, over the past 21 years, successfully managed more than 200 construction projects, primarily for the DOD, with approximate revenues of $360 million. He has received dozens of prestigious awards, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works Contractor of the Year, the Small Business Administration Minority Small Business Person of the Year award, the 2009 Region IX Entrepreneurial Success Award, and numerous design awards.
